At Cleaner Greener Energies, we take the installation process very seriously. Every wind and solar product we sell must be installed by factory-trained and Certified Installers to maintain your warranty and to protect your investment. CGE does not offer products for do-it-yourself installations.
The process starts with obtaining the appropriate City Zoning information and required Building Permits and then performing a Site/Structural Assessment. Our Professional Engineers will complete an in-depth analysis of your location or building structure to determine the ideal mounting situation. In some cases, reinforcement to the truss system may be needed to safely support a wind turbine. CGE also offers a Pole Mount installation for applications where a roof mount is not feasible.
After the Engineers give their stamp of approval, the installation process can begin. Our Professional Installers have been factory-trained and certified by each product manufacturer that CGE represents. The installers will take great care in correctly mounting your energy product and we guarantee our workmanship.
After the wind or solar unit has been mounted, the next step is to have a Certified Electrical Contractor complete the wiring and connect into the electrical panel. Once all the wiring is finished, the City Inspector will be notified for a final inspection.
Three months after installation, CGE will contact you to schedule a 90 Day Inspection. This ensures your energy system is operating at peak performance and any necessary technical adjustments can be made at this time.
